KELLY MCLARNAN

EDUCATION ADVISOR & COMMUNITY LIAISON

Kelly has worked in education for over 20 years, and has spent many years aiding non-profit organizations, both on and off the island of Roatan. She has worked to become a master teacher in both Roatan and the U.S., and spends a great deal of her time working and training other teachers, while she runs the Language Loft of Roatan. Kelly enjoys finding new ways to reach students, especially in a world with minimal resources. She has been working within the community of Roatan for 15 years.

Kelly has trained and worked in Spain, Colombia, and the U.S. She holds undergrad degrees in Anthropology and Spanish, and a masters in Applied Linguistics (Spanish).

Kelly gives courses, programs and teaches during the days and nights, but takes time off to enjoy her island life with her beloved island whippet mix, Indiana.
